Aaron Willis (no relation to Bruce) loves to cook, starting at the age of 14 on St.John at the Lobster Hut. He has been running The Fish Trap since 1991, working as the head chef. At the time there was very few seafood restaurants in St.John and thus a family business was born.
Aaron went to the CIA (Culinary Institute of America), which gave him the knowledge of culinary science. Aaron spent 5 years in the San Francisco Bay area prior to opening The Fish Trap, where he worked for the California Café Restaurant, opening 7 restaurants as a sous chef.
Sailing, going to the beach, playing with his seven year old son, spending time with family, traveling with his wife, and tasting other culinary treats are his passions.
